Full Compatibility List — Caterpillar D6 Series

This carrier roller covers three D6 model lines. If you run a mixed fleet of D6R, D6RXL and D6H machines on the same site, one part number covers all three — you do not need to stock separate SKUs for each variant. Check the Series number on the machine plate if you are not sure whether your unit is Series II or Series III.

Ground surface temperatures in Saudi Arabia and the UAE hit 60 °C in summer. Sand gets into every gap. Standard carrier roller seals — made for cooler climates — lose their lubricant within a few months under those conditions. Once the seal goes, the roller seizes. A seized carrier roller lets the track chain grind directly on the frame rail. That turns a roller swap into a frame repair, and the cost difference is not small.

Our D6R carrier rollers use a seal compound rated above 45 °C continuous ambient. D6R operators in Saudi Arabia and the UAE running land-clearing and road-building work get 12 months out of these rollers — full summer included. That 12-month figure is what the 1-year Gulf warranty is based on.

Tread hardness and the floating seal face are the two specs that decide how long a carrier roller lasts in desert conditions. Both are checked on every production batch before the parts leave the factory.

Packaging & Shipment

Each roller gets rust-inhibiting film on the tread and foam padding around the seal faces, then goes onto a standard export pallet. Every pallet is wrapped in waterproof stretch film and strapped before it goes into the container — nothing shifts in transit. For a full D6R set of four rollers, pallets are arranged per side so your crew pulls one pallet per crawler and works through it in order.

FCL sea freight from Xiamen or Guangzhou runs approximately 30 days to most ports including Jebel Ali, Dammam and Shuwaikh. LCL consolidation takes approximately 45 days. For urgent single-piece requirements, DHL or FedEx delivers in 5–7 days door to door.
