Hitachi Crawler Crane KH125 Track Roller — KH & CX Series Aftermarket Replacement
Aftermarket Hitachi crawler crane track rollers for the KH and CX series — covering KH70, KH100, KH125, KH150, KH180, KH230, KH300, KH500, CX500 and CX700. These sit below the crawler frame and carry machine weight through the track chain. On a Hitachi piling crane or lifting crane working on rough ground, they take the load every metre of travel.
Manufactured from 40Mn2 forged steel with induction-hardened tread and dual-cone floating seals tested to 2.4 MPa. ShunQi Track is a Hitachi crane replacement parts supplier and crawler crane undercarriage parts manufacturer based in China, exporting to distributors, repair workshops and rental fleets worldwide. Every order goes through a fitment check before we confirm the price.

Getting the dimensions right matters more than it looks. A roller that is 5 mm too wide will not seat in the frame bracket. A shaft that is 2 mm off means the roller spins on the shaft instead of with it — and the seal fails within weeks. We check dimensions against the machine model before every order goes out.
Hitachi KH Series vs CX Series — Track Roller Differences
The KH series and CX series are two distinct Hitachi crawler crane product lines. Same brand, different undercarriage geometry — track roller dimensions do not cross over between the two series.
KH Series Track Roller
KH70 / KH100 / KH125 / KH150 / KH180 / KH230 / KH300 / KH500
Lattice boom crawler cranes — piling, foundation and general lifting
KH70 to KH125: smaller frame, lighter roller, single flange standard
KH150 to KH300: mid-range frame — KH150-2 and KH150-3 use different shaft diameters, always confirm sub-variant
KH500: large capacity, heavier roller construction, higher seal pressure rating
CX Series Track Roller
CX500 / CX700
Heavy lift crawler cranes — large construction and industrial projects
CX series uses a different frame bracket width from the KH series
CX500 and CX700 mounting bolt patterns differ from each other
Do not order based on KH500 dimensions — the CX500 is a different machine

40Mn2 Forged Steel — Why It Matters
Most Hitachi KH and CX track rollers that come off machines after 2,000–3,000 hours show two failure modes: tread wear and seal failure. Tread wear happens when the surface was not hard enough for the load. Seal failure happens when the body flexed under repeated impact and broke the seal contact face geometry.
We use 40Mn2 forged alloy steel for the roller body and end covers. Compared to plain carbon steel, 40Mn2 has higher tensile strength and better impact toughness — the body holds its shape under load cycles, which keeps the seal faces in contact. After forging, the body goes through quenching and tempering for core hardness, then induction hardening on the tread surface. Tread hardness reachesHRC 52–58 depending on the roller model.

What is the difference between a Hitachi KH series and CX series track roller?
KH series are lattice boom cranes — piling, foundation, general lifting. CX series are heavy lift cranes for large construction projects. Different frame bracket widths, different shaft diameters, different bolt patterns. Not interchangeable, even where the outer diameter looks the same.
How many track rollers does a Hitachi KH150 have per side?
Typically 7 per side — 14 total. The exact count and flange configuration (single or double flange per position) depend on the sub-variant. Send the full model designation and we confirm the count before quoting.
What seal test standard do your Hitachi track rollers meet?
Every roller passes a 2.4 MPa water pressure test and a separate air tightness test before leaving the factory. Rollers that fail either test are reworked or scrapped. This standard applies across the full ShunQi Track roller range, not just the Hitachi line.
Is this a genuine Hitachi OEM part or aftermarket?
Aftermarket replacement. Built to the same dimensional and material specification as the original Hitachi part, but not sourced from Hitachi or their authorised supply chain. Hitachi model names are used solely to identify machine fitment.
Can you supply a complete Hitachi crawler crane undercarriage parts set?
Yes. Track rollers, carrier rollers, front idlers, sprockets, track shoes and track chain — all confirmed to the same Hitachi model and sub-variant before shipment. One shipment for the full set cuts freight cost and reduces the number of times the undercarriage needs to come apart.
Can you make a Hitachi track roller by drawing or sample?
Yes. Send the worn roller or a dimensional drawing — outer diameter, overall width, shaft diameter, flange type, material grade and quantity. We confirm feasibility, lead time and price. Custom production is available for both forged and cast designs.
